THE BRAIN BURGER
Introducing our latest brainwave…
Like eating burgers and raising money for charity? Our latest brainwave combines the two.
In order to raise awareness and much needed funding for the Parkinson’s UK charity, the legendary Fergus Henderson of St. JOHN restaurant fame has developed a ‘Brain Burger’ to be sold at selected MEAT sites for the whole of June.
The Brain Burger will only be available at MEATliquor W1, MEATliquor N1, and MEATmission. The burgers are exclusive to these sites, and only 15 will be available each day. Those wishing to snatch up our offal offering will need to purchase a ticket in advance. But don’t worry, if you wanna bring a pal with you, the rest of our meaty munch is available as normal. Tickets are available here, and all profits will go to Parkinson’s UK.
The £30 (plus booking fee) includes:
- The Brain Burger- a slice of calf’s brain, fried in panko breadcrumbs and served with sauce gebriche, home-made mayonnaise & cabbage on a St JOHN Bakery potato & onion roll
- Portion of fries
- A limited edition butchers apron designed by Fergus
If you don’t fancy the Brain Burger, but do fancy contributing, Fergus has also designed a T-shirt in collaboration with Awesome Merchandise. All proceeds will go to Parkinson’s UK and can be purchased here.
One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s. That’s about 127,000 people in the UK.
